Honorable Mention: This doesn't quite crack the list, but I need a Gary Carter moment. Opening Day, 1985. Carter hits a walk-off home run in his first game with the team to beat the Cardinals. While the Mets didn't make the playoffs that year (98 wins was enough in those pre-Wild Card days) it was a tremendous "welcome to New York" for one of the key players to the 1986 team, and set the tone for his career in Queens.
The link to get to 10 doesn't work.
