With an 8-0 lead in the seventh, it looks like AJ will finally get his 3rd win. Thusfar, Burnett has earned $1.595 million per win.
Burnett obviously has not pitched that badly; however, a bit of bad luck, combined with a lot of walks and a bad bullpen equate to few wins.
The bottom line is that the Yankees need to win the series in Texas in order to get back on track after the series loss over the weekend to the Phillies.
Yaros
the NYY should have gardner start over swisher. gardner is hitting 50pts higher and adds a running dimention the NYY need more than another power hitter. besides there hasnt been much power of late.
