Indeed that was the question at hand at about 9 pm last night at the new Yankee Stadium. Should the Yankees have played? Probably not!
I have this theory that a team essentially refuses to postpone 2 consecutive games. Essentially, unless an earthquake splits the field in 2, the Yankees were going to play Boston last night.
Apparently, some fans were unaware of this theory and were told that the game was going to be canceled. A woman who left and tried to get back in was arrested for going nuts on a police officer outside the stadium - sad for her!
In other news, the Mets finally got some power hitting out of the big boppers. Lucky them!

this is another example of the NYY not properly balancing its business interests with the interests of the fans. management is very arrogant as reflected in the post adjusted tkt prices
