Chin Ming Wang will start today and Phil Hughes will be pitching from the pen for the time being.
It was only one poor start that pushed Hughes to the pen. This tells me that the Yankees were really interested in putting Wang back in the rotation and were simply looking for the smallest of windows.
Hughes did not pitch poor enough to get the typical demotion, it was Wang's recent success that caused the switch.
