The Mets and Yankees both recently released their patches for the upcoming inaugural seasons in new stadiums.
The Yankees' patch has been seen around town for a while now and is very classy looking.
I know it's a stupid little thing (ie. who cares about a patch), but does anyone know what they are doing in Queens?
What is that? The comparisons have been to a pizza box!
Moving on, the Mets should go after Manny Ramirez. However, if ownership chooses not to, Jeff Wilpon should tell the truth and not try to blame Omar Minaya for not asking ownership to pursue Manny. Everyone knows that Omar loves Manny - just unintelligent on Wilpon's part!

the mets will always be second class to the yanks - as u exhibit here - even with the patches
ReplyDeleteAnd if the Yankees in fact turn out to be the NY team with Manny....
ReplyDeletemanny is very divisive. he's good for a 20 game spark but disruptive to the team for a 162 game season. wilpon/omar is right to pass.
