Bud Selig - the $18 million man - and the person who is supposed to be the keeper of baseball, its legacy and its legitimacy. He came out last week and stated that A-rod "shamed" baseball.
Let me make this clear - I know A-rod cheated and that he likely did more than he is willing to admit; however, for the guy who lacked the cahones (aka - guts) to challenge the Players' Union with a solid steroids policy to say such a thing is a joke.
I recommend that Selig take a look in the mirror! Today he said that he is insulted by the idea that he is to blame for the steroids era.
Cmon Selig - your a horrific commissioner, a slave to the owners and you deserve to make 18 dollars!

I don't think Selig is a horrible commissioner but i COMPLETELY agree with you about his response to not being accountable to the steroids issue.
ReplyDeleteHe is horrible. He presided over this whole mess with a wink and a nod. The only other figure deserving reproach for what the ignorant, insecure players did was he who bought the team at the epicenter of the mess--the Texas Rangers-- for $800,000 and then sold it for $15 million, the man who wanted the Commissioner's job but was not capable enough politically to wrest it away from Selig: GEORGE W. BUSH.
