Which was better?
Well, the back and forth was there in both games. There were underlying stories in both games (the Pittsburgh connection for the Arizona coaching staff, the NY vs. Boston rivalry ect.).
Both games were excellent, so which one takes the cake?
I would have to go with last year because of the Tyree catch and because the Giants beat what would have been the best team in NFL history. Whenever the underdog wins, the game is always more intriguing!

The thing that strikes me is that we have now seen two successive fascinating Super Bowl games when in the past it used to be a truism that the commercials were far more interesting than the games.
