Note To Cousin - tomar el próximo barco a Cuba y cambiar su nombre!

A-rod took steroids with his cousin. Who exactly is this cousin that was never mentioned in the Gammons interview?

My guess is that he is in the Dominican. I would not be surprised if he is about the same age as A-rod but was stuck in a lower level professional league in the southern U.S. at the time. I would not be surprised if the next flight from Tampa to Santo Domingo is chock full of investigative reporters from every major news organization on the planet.

If the cousin does exist, then he will be found because ESPN, SI, the New York Times, AP, USA Today and everyone else will look through every family tree, interview every member of the Rodriguez family, search through every birth record in Dominican history and find that dude. I'd take the next boat to Cuba if I were that guy and change his name! Or if he is perusing the web right now and comes upon this site - tomar el próximo barco a Cuba y cambiar su nombre - (in English that means, take the next boat to Cuba and change your name!

A couple of other notes on the news conference...

-the no follow-ups issue just means the questions will be asked tomorrow (pretty dumb, but classic Yankee move)

-the Yankees should have let the Q and A last until every last question was answered

-Every dime A-rod makes in incentives from the home run chase should go to the anti-steroid organization

-ANSWER THIS - WHY ARE YOU HIDING THAT YOU ARE DOING THE STUFF IF YOU THINK IT IS NOT BAD? WHY DID YOU USE IT IF YOU DID NOT THINK IT DID MUCH - DRINK THE WATER YOU USED IN THE ANALOGY!
