This is one of the most poorly coached games I have ever seen. Reggie Hodges is a poor punter - he could not pin the Seahawks inside the 10 all day. So not allowing Jay Feely to rekick the field goal he just easily made from only 5 yards further is absurd. There are a couple of reasons why. First, the footing was not an issue because the field goal was on a 5 yard marker. When that is the case, there is constant shoveling of the spot the field goal would be kicked from. Also, kickers usually miss field goals wide not short.
Then, punt the ball at the 20!!!!
It is laughable!

I would not be surprised if the Jets take the Josh McDaniels and Matt Cassel package this offseason!
I also think that throwing a 40 yard pass into double coverage (granted it was a well thrown ball) when the game is on the line at the 20 yard line on 4th and 4.

ReplyDeleteAnyway Jet fans, your team were chokers this year, for Jet fans you team is only champions in your mind. THey kept on saying we only care about the present, well the present stinks and as they do every year jet fans once again overated their team.
The Morg lounge was empty today, the fans that were guarenteeing the afc title game to me were no longer to be found.
Maybe year 41 of the super bowl drought next year wont be as painful as year 40 was this year
well 53 people had the flu along w/ u today.
