As a Jets fan, my mood changes based on how successful the Jets are. This week is a rough one!
Moving on to other games...
-Indy won one of the worst offensively played games of the year. Peyton is having his issues - I still don't think he is completely healthy. Also, I feel bad for the Browns, the year has gotten worse every week (aside from the odd win against the Giants) and the Browns are at their lowest point as of yet as they literally have no QB. Their starter, Ken Dorsey, has thrown 4 passes with 0 completions in the last 3 years. Good luck!
-Buffalo and Miami are falling off a bit. The Dolphins won this week, but had serious trouble against the lowly Rams. The Bills still have a good defense, but have forgotten how to score!
-On the other hand, Jake Delhomme is back on track as he remembered that it is important to complete passes again.
-Drew Brees does throw for a lot of yards (on alot of attempts), but he has thrown a bunch of INTs and blew the game last week.
-Adrian Peterson is a fabulous player, but he runs so hard that he will miss time in at least half of his seasons if he doesn't find ways to not get hit so hard on almost every rush.
-Pittsburgh is probably the best team in the AFC!
-Finally, I've been saying this for a while, but I think Tyler Thigpen of the Chiefs will be a long time starter in the NFL. He throws a great ball (smooth and with alot of zip) and has poise in the pocket. If the Chiefs have some brains, they will keep him!
This is the type of talk that NFL posts should be about, forget about Plaxico Burress. With regards to Burress, he will be out of football (suspended) before going to jail because the trial will apparently start in March of '09 at the earliest.
Yaros
the Titans are the best team in the NFL, the dominated last week (granted, it was the Lions), but they only have 1 loss!
