Apparently the Mets have forgotten that the Nationals have the worst pitching staff in the National League. The Nationals pitching staff is last in ERA, strikeouts and WHIP in the NL. The team ERA is about 1/2 a run less than any other team in the NL.
What a joke? I understand injuries, but, this is the Nationals!
The current constituted Mets may be worse than the Nationals. Achieving that feat may be more challenging than winning the division.
The season is over, has been over for a few weeks now and Met fans ought to look forward to 2010.

this year is over for the mets. the question is will management attribute the disasterour year to injuries or hold minaya and his manager responsible. my guess is that they'll both get a pass.
