The Yankees forgot that there was a weekend series prior to the all-star break. Two horrifically pitched games began the horrid series and then there was today's game.
When the bases are loaded with no outs and Teixeira and A-rod coming up - the Yankees must score!!!
The bottom of the line-up did the job in the 8th and Swisher got unlucky on a web gem, but the game was lost in the 7th inning.
Kudos to the Angels for consistently dominating the Yankees over the past decade, but, this series was just plain embarrassing!

NYY cant seem to beat the better teams. they need to pick up a good starter if they want to advance in the playoffs.
ReplyDeletepettite has always fallen prey to that "big inning". girardi killed the bullpen the day before by starting aceves.
ReplyDeleteas far as arod goes in the seventh - at least he put the ball in play - texiera cant strike out there - at least get a sac fly.
