And the World Series Winner Will be...

Shockingly, (just kidding) the fundamentally sound and outstanding Los Angeles Angels. Too much pitching experience and a winning culture that has been in place for the last 8 years will put the Angels over the top. The Brewers have lots of young talent and a great 1,2 (with a solid 3), but the Angels play flawless playoff baseball, find ways to score and will easily win this series. It will be over in 5!

  1. You Shouldnt count out the yankees who I still believe will win the world series. They have won more world series from the years 1919-2000 than any other team. And besides that... they are the yankees...

  2. I still think the Yankees will win the World Series. That has absolutely nothing to do with the fact we've won more than anybody else in that 80 year span.

  3. Angels vs Cubs seems logical. Brewers could go far - but only if CC and Sheets can go all the way. Their bullpen makes the mets look like Rivera.

  4. Any reason is a good enough reason to pick the yankees to win the world series... thats the beauty of the yankees, they are the aynkees, they always win, dont they?

  6. Experience is big in the playoff - they have none!

  7. Angels had none in 02, Marlins next to none in 03, White sox very little in 05, Rockies none last year.
And don't underestimate the leadership of cliff floyd. he was a great presence on the 06 mets even if he was no longer the hitter he once was

  8. I am aware that some teams win without experience, but it definitely helps. Plus, how long can Eric Hinske and Ben Zobrist hold down the fort. Carl Crawford is definitely done for the year. I know they have played a solid left field thus far, but the pressure will continue to mount.
