Only kidding! Nice tack-on solo shot by A-Rod to make the game 7-2. Note the cynicism!
I guess this blog is official, this is the 100th post. Keep coming back, spread the word and keep commenting! Btw, only if you are interested in what I have to say, if not don't force yourself. But, if you do like it then pass it on to friends, the more viewers the stronger my motivation to keep going!

time for a-rod to start padding those stats. would'nt b surprised to see a-rod go on a tear and get his stats up to a-rodish numbers. after all, the pressure is off since the race is virtually over.
ReplyDelete(i think my cynicism and sarcasm is starting to rub off on your commentary - keep it up!)
i love all the arod haters who miss the game against detroit sunday when he had a monster game in the beginning. and had the pitching not sucked, i'm sure you would have discounted the four rbi's because it was a blowout anyway (even if his were before it was a blow out).
ReplyDeleteAs a mets fan, i greatly appreciate a hitter who makes a two run lead slightly larger late in the game and would have no problem with arod doing it for the mets all year long.
so keep underappreciating one of the greatest hitters to ever step foot on a baseball field.
I think he is one of the best hitters of all time - the stats speak for themselves. He is just maddeningly annoying to watch on a daily basis because watching Jeter hit in the clutch for so many years has unreasonably shifted the expectations for A-Rod.

the title for the blog after last nights game shouldve been MOOSE IS CY YOUNG WINNER!
ReplyDeleteArod is amazing. He is the reason why the Yankees in 2004 were almost able to sweep the Red Sox. He gives the Yankees a unique advantage over many other teams in that those games that the Yankees are up by 10 runs he can make it an 11 run lead or on those days that they are down by 10 he can make it a 9 run lead.
ReplyDeleteHe has clearly had a more successful carrer than Manny and Ortiz in tht they together only won one MVP and it was with the Red Sox so its like they won -5 together, and Arod won 2 MVP's with the Yankees THE YANKEES none of the less. Thats two more MVPS than either Manny or Ortiz won with the Yankees.
