-The Jets should have ran a QB sneak from the 9 inch line on the 2 point conversion down 45-29.
-Also, after making the game 38-23 with a field goal early in the 4th, an onside kick should have been attempted. Look, it was a long shot to begin with, but without Kris Jenkins in the game, the Jets had no shot at stopping the Chargers. So, trying to get the ball back was the only hope. Of course, the Chargers ran down the field and scored a TD anyway.
-It was obvious that Brett Favre and his receivers were not on the same page.
-It is rather obvious that Kris Jenkins is by far the most important piece of the defense. He left in the second quarter and the Chargers started eating up yards like The Schwab

yeah, i shut my set off after the second favre pick.
ReplyDeleteFavre will need half the season to integrate into the team, so it's wait till next yr, unless the the rest of the division does poorly a la NL West -- a possibility.
ReplyDeletethe jets need to look for a long term qb. Maybe they can trade Favre to GB.
