To Clarify, I spoke with Bill Squires, one of the individuals in charge of stadium operations with both the Jets and Giants, and he specifically told me that there is no chance 2 games could be played the same day. The parking situation is already a disaster at the stadium and the chaos that would occur if 2 games were played the same day would make it impossible to pull off.
So, to all you annoying radio callers who ask the same question 1,000 times - here is your answer! No stop calling! Please!

Hold up Jet fans remember they are 3rd in the conference right now and just because they beat tenn doenst make then the number one seed, they are the number 3 seed and pitt has the tiebreaker on them right now.
ReplyDeleteTHey will have to play the patriots or the colts in the first round assuming pitt keeps onto the bye in that they have the tiebreaker in terms of conference games... good luck...
KNowing the Jets, they wont win the games they're supposed to...but that said, they have a MUCH easier remaning schedule than pittsburgh has
ReplyDeletewhat would happen in this situation?
ReplyDeleteJosh J,
ReplyDeleteIts not happening, you and the rest of the biased jets community needs to realize the jets arent going deep in the playoffs.
Its not worth worrying about things that just dont happen such as this. The Jets have only been in 2 AFC Championship games since man has landed on the moon, both of them on the road.
Jet fans such as you Josh J, who whoever you are, your probably a Flanders guy for all we know, needs to stop fantisizing, if you want the jets to win play madden otherwise its not happening in your lifetime
What exactly do the Jets 2 AFC title games in 40 years have to do with this year's team??? Plenty of teams have shaken years of misery to make - or even win - a super bowl:
ReplyDelete98 Falcons, 02 Bucs, 06 Seahawks to name a few recent examples.
And when I was growing up, the 2 biggest jokes of franchises in the NFL were the Patriots and Colts.
I was just curious what would happen...
