Week 10 Review!

There were a few very interesting things that occurred this weekend in the NFL:

The Chargers have serious issues. They never play consistently and clearly really miss Steroids Merriman on D.

Herm Edwards has a curse that never leaves him, but going for 2 down a point at the end of the game was the right move. The Chiefs had a serious talent disadvantage and likely would not have won in OT. The key to the Chiefs recent respectability in Tyler Thigpen. The young QB is playing fabulously. From a physical perspective, he seems to throw the ball effortlessly and with tremendous zip. Against the Chargers he threw for 266 and 3 TDs. Really impressive.

No QB has ever won a game on the road in the history of the NFL with a worse performance that Jake Delhomme's 7 for 27 with 72 yards, a TD and 4 interceptions. That is downright pathetic, but so was the performance of the Raiders who actually lost the game - shameful. I question the playoff potential of the Panthers after games from their QB like this.

Big Ben blew the Steelers game against Indy with dumb picks.

Adrian Peterson is clearly the best back in the league. I think LT has lost at least 2 steps.

Both Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco are really improving on a weekly basis.

Finally, the refereeing this week was dreadful. A couple of notes: the Chargers nearly lost their game to the Chiefs on a phantom pass interference that gave the Chiefs the ball at the 1 yard line at the end of the game. Also, the refs could not figure out up from down in tonight's game between the 49ers and the Cardinals.
