Granted, the Rangers are good and the Devils were good prior to an elbow injury, but days like today may be rather commonplace over the next few months with the exception of Sundays.
The lack of experience on the Nets and lack of talent on the Knicks puts the city at a serious disadvantage when it comes to NBA wins for a given metro area.
Basically, what I am saying is that we have absolutely nothing to look forward to from the NBA season until the lottery (unless the Nets manage to play like they did on Friday night when they upset the Pistons - but of course, their lack of experience is the reason they lost the next game against Indiana. It is called inconsistency.)
The Islanders are horrendous. They have some of the dumbest management in sports (as do the Knicks) and need a change in ownership in order to be successful.
The Rangers, well they are good, but will surely lose some game - and those are the days when everyone in New York will lose (ex. last night!)
Lastly, the Devils, and their oft successful but mind numbingly boring style of play, will just try to hold their heads above water until Marty comes back; however, this may just be a lost season considering, we have no clue how good he will feel even when he is able to play.

The Devils aren't boring. Only non-hockey fans find them boring. Seriously. Look it up.
ReplyDelete- if the rangers dont find scoring help soon they will be in a lot of trouble. Lundqvist cant stand on his head every night
