Are a 33 year old and 36 year old pair of washed up former scorers going to save the Knicks? Of course not! Is a semi-decent, but headache causing, 6'9" outside shooting big man going to win the Knicks 40+ games? Um...NO!
We all know that the Knicks are trying to prepare for the potential signing of LeBron James (who currently plays for a far superior team that is up 30 against the Knicks in the 3rd quarter!), but what about this season AND next season?
Where are the points going to come from? As of last week, the Knicks were leading the league in points scored, I expect that they may be in the bottom 5 in that category by the All-Star break! No one who is currently a Knick averaged 14 points a game last year, so I ask once again, where are the points coming from?
The Knicks have formally thrown in the towel and expect Knicks fans to pay big bucks to see this team suck for 2 years!
Perhaps Donnie Walsh has a more short term (as in this year or next idea that doesn't involve LeBron James - but this town doesn't have the patience to wait 2 years for the King to play for this pathetic, yet storied (well, kind of storied - nothing in comparison to the Lakers or Celtics!), franchise!
Well, there is my rant! It is just sad to watch!
