The "big news" that was the Jets signing of Ty Law today should really be considered of minimal importance. There are far more critical issues coming up in advance of Thursday's huge match up.
But, this is a classic obsession with players who used to be great and are now attempting a come back. It is as if the press seems to think that Law could stop Wes Welker or even Jabar Gaffney. The guy will probably play 5 snaps or so on defense and likely will not be a factor.
But, kudos to Law himself for staying in shape.
