The Jets are obviously playing with house cards against the 10-0 Titans.
How could the Jets pull this one out?
-The key to stopping the Titans in completely up front with the D' line. The interior line against the run (Mr. Jenkins does that himself) and the ends against creating a pass rush to make Kerry Collins move (he is kinda old and slow, so he is not very good at that) and force him to rush throws.
For the Jets to win, Calvin Pace and Co. must generated pressure on almost every third down.
Obviously, creating turnovers will be key and that will be caused by the pressure up front.
-Offensively, running the ball, having long drives, will ware down the Titan defense which is absolutely stellar. Jacksonville got off to a great start against the D (scoring 14 first half points); however, the defense tightened (play on words - figure it out!) and the Jaguars scored no more points. The Jets have a propencity to create long TD drives on their first offensive series. This is a must against the Titans. Throwing the ball to loosen the defense, and protecting the ball will be key (No turnovers Brett!)
Leon Washington will be special as usual and the Jets should win this one!
