NO SUCH CHEAR AT MSG TONIGHT!

Everyone enjoys a game like this (well, aside from defensive guys in the Bruce Bowen mold). David Lee had the ridiculous 37 and 21 while Chris Duhon had 22 assists.

The only problem with such stats is that they can only occur in a game with no defense by the Knicks. Last Tuesday night, the Knicks were blown out by the Cavs and LeBron had 26 points through 3 quarters. He could have had 45 points as part of a triple-double; however, because the Cavs play some D, there was no fear from Mike Brown (Cavs' head coach) that the Knicks would come back so LeBron sat out the 4th quarter.

Granted the Knicks scored 138 points, but giving up 125 to a team playing without its top scorer (Stephen Jackson) and playing its 4th game in 5 nights is pathetic. The Knicks are not a good team, they played a terrible defensive team when that team (Golden State) would be playing its worst defense of the year (at the end of a 4 games in 5 night swing).

The bottom line is that this scoring effort is an aberration and the Knicks need to close the flood gates of points scored against them.
