The Knicks are in for another long season. The team really needs a fast start in order to gain confidence, continue to stand in line behind D'Antoni's plans and earn the home court advantage that would carry them to some wins.
The issues the team is having with Stephon Marbury, the additional questions everyone is being asked about his lack of playing time and the mental headaches the situation is giving the front office hurts the Knicks.
However, what hurts the Knicks more than anything else is their schedule in November. Talk about brutal. The schedule has 3 sets of back to back games and 8 of the 13 are against playoff teams from last year.
In their next 13 games, I expect the Knicks to go 3-10 to get off to a rocking 4-12 start.
The schedule does not get much easier after that!
Wow, another 30 win season in New York! Congrats!
