Good- when Brett Favre and Nick Mangold - 2 of the best offensive players on the team - made a poor snap exchange, they were forced to run 2 laps. These laps create a good mentality among the players and develop the team atmosphere. Kudos to Mangini for having the guts to make his studs run.
Bad - Laveranues Coles is ticked off that his good buddy and former QB Chad Pennington was cut to make room for Favre. He was seen sulking around camp and unwilling to talk to reporters. I am sure he will get over it when he sees the ball can actually make it to him on a out route. Catching the ball is a lot more fun that chasing after a corner back trying to score a touchdown off a pick.
(Very) Ugly - Top special teams guy and top back-up line backer, Brad Kassell, is done for the year after tearing up his knee during the opening exhibition game. His grit will be missed but his skill set can be replaced. Everyone feels worse for him than the Jets as a team for losing him.
