Melky Cabrera has finally been sent down to AAA after months of poor hitting. He has always been a good fielder and got off to a solid start this year; however, since May he has been dreadful at the plate. Either he is done or will shape up in AAA against the lesser pitching.
Richie Sexson is also out of the Bronx, but he was simply dumped. He could not hit righties at all and was not doing much against lefties either. He was becoming a really tall strike out machine who hit 1 home run and struck out a ton. See ya Richie, enjoy the checks coming from Seattle.

Surprised at what happened with Melky. He was probalby their best all around player in April.
ReplyDeleteThe guy has not hit in months. But he definitely has more talent than Brett Gardner.
